Michael has spent his entire legal career fighting for the rights of the injured in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has represented hundreds of people in the D.C. Metro area in workers' compensation, personal injury, and Social Security claims.

Born and raised in northern Michigan, Michael received his B.A. in International Studies and German Language from the University of Idaho before attending the American University Washington College of Law. While at American, Michael gained courtroom experience through WCL’s well-regarded clinical and Trial Advocacy programs. He graduated from American University with a J.D. as well as a Master’s in International Affairs.

After graduation Michael began his legal career fighting for the rights of injured workers in the D.C. area. He has handled a variety of injury claims ranging from motor vehicle collisions to and traumatic work injuries.

A member of the D.C. and the Maryland Bar Associations, Since 2016 Michael was also named a “Rising Star” in the field of Workers’ Compensation by Maryland Super Lawyers.
